See Measuring Matthew in the Meisner Slam Boston, March 15-17

My short (and very fun play) will be part of SlamBoston for the next three nights, March 15-17, at the Factory Theatre, 791 Tremont Street, produced by Another Country Productions.  The show starts at 7:30pm and will feature a variety of short plays--the audience gets to vote for their favorite (so come cheer on your playwright friends).  You can buy tickets here.  The Slams often sell out, so I definitely recommend buying a ticket ahead of time (even though you might have to get there by boat, if the waters keep rising).

(I'll be at the show tomorrow night, Tuesday.)

Kepler and Me (on Wikipedia)

I love the internet.  I was looking at where visitors find my web site and happened to see a link from Wikipedia, from the entry for Johannes Kepler.  And sure enough, there's a link referencing my play, Reading the Mind of God, at the end of the Wikipedia entry for Kepler.  (There's also a link to it from the NASA sight.)  That's just so cool.

Playwright Submission Binge #16 starts today

Today marks the start of the 16th online Playwright Submission Binge.  The Binge is an online community of more than 550 playwrights, dedicated to the discussion of marketing of plays and scripts.  It's grown in an extremely supportive group over the years (I started it 8 years ago).  Twice a year, the group gets together for a month long Submission Binge, where we take the challenge of sending out a submission a day (script or query), every day, for 30 days.  After we send out the material, we report back to the group about why, where, and what we sent.  It's a great way to make marketing chores a lot more fun, and also ends  up sharing and exchanging a lot of valuable information on submission opportunities.  (And we don't kick people out if they don't really manage to send out a submission every day.)

You can check it out here:  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/playwrightbinge/.
